TO THE 2009 HOTLANTA CAT SHOW!

Our next show will be April 4-5, 2009 at the Farmers Market Exhibition Hall near the Atlanta Airport. It will be our second annual show.

There will be many breeds of cats at our show, of course, but there will also be a Cat Agility Ring and all kinds of cat toys, furniture, and food!

Don't forget to help out the Fayette County Humane Society and the beautiful cats and kittens they save every day. One of them may be waiting just for you to take them to their forever home! Hotlanta Cool Cats Club partners with the Fayette County Humane Society for fund raising and publicity.

There are three Breed Congresses at the show:  Ragdoll, Bengal, and Northern Lights (includes Norwegian Forest Cats, Siberians, and Maine Coons). The Wegies (Norwegian Forest Cats) are holding their 25th anniversary celebration at the show! A Breed Congress is a special ring where several cats of the same breed are shown and compete for ribbons, championship titles, and show points.

For those of you new to cat shows, here is the official TICA visitor and exhibitor guide.

Household pet owners are encouraged to come and welcome to participate. TICA household pet of the year for 2008 is LA SGM BELIEVE IN MAGIC OF LUVPURRS, a red ticked tabby and white cat (also known as orange tabby and white). Household pets entered in the show must be altered (spayed or neutered) but do not have to be registered with TICA unless the owner wishes to earn titles and compete for Regional and Annual awards. The public is cordially invited to visit the show hall during the show hours of 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM Saturday and 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM Sunday.
